Purpose of the Role

Create a step change within the MCI business towards core Brand product solutions by:

  • Being the lead ambassador and go to person for commercial teams, MCI team and all relevant stakeholders
  • within and outside the company. The Practice Lead have 100% accountability for ensuring that the commercial teams are having the right conversations, with the right clients and supported by the right content.
  • Proactively lead and driving commercial awareness and business development for Conjoin Pricing and all Field & Tab olutions by creating:
  • Strong credentials (globally, regionally & locally) to drive awareness, collaboration and guidance with the commercial teams in maintaining and building pipeline with the key local giants, key Global clients and new clients
  • Focus on product solutions invested in globally (by the product solutions teams)
  • Strong resonance with industry focus areas, e.g. T&D, FMCG, Retail, Auto.
  • Cost and time efficient processes search, recommend and drive improvements efficiencies and effectiveness in systems and operation processes related to brand
  • Executing projects within Conjoint Pricing and F&T with excellence
  • Actively lead and driving client management of strategic key accounts or independent client management for smaller clients within the industry and within product solutions for Conjoint Pricing and F&T
  • Presents as the product expert to clients via pitches, proposals and presentations
  • Represent the client within the marketing research industry as the product expert on product solutions
  • Sharing best practice for and bringing to light client''s KBQ''s and needs to enhance the product solutions via product solutions champion communities
Key Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Managerial Responsibility:

  • Management of a specific team: incl. direct team management, resource allocation, project oversight, performance management, development and training
  • Setting KPIs with each direct report and manage PMP incl. personal development with reference to JD specific skils, skills gap identification and professional growth/career objectives and goals
  • Responsibility for revenue and GM% across P&L for all responsible projects including adherence to compliance on Timesheets
  • Responsible for all project admin
  • PO''s, NAV, PAF and ensuring PSS and CEPS are used for all projects and ensuring collaboration with all relevant stakeholders to be included in the project

Research Design & Proposal Development:

  • Review of all briefs with the inclusion and collaboration with all relevant stakeholders
  • Proposal development and writing of proposals
  • Pricing of market research projects using latest CEPS file for costing
  • All final costs to be signed off by MD and Finance Manager before inclusion in proposals and final contracts/PAFs
  • Responsible for development of research designs in the context of the appropriate Product Solutions (Conjoint Pricing and F&T) and development of respective analysis design (on basis of standards defined of the local and global products)
  • Provide guidance and input into development of project and questionnaire design, DP specs for data analysis with Data Tables as output, Qsoftware analysis, Survey Reporter analysis and any additional adhoc analysis required
  • Provide guidance and input into development of Insights Deck, Strategic Deck and Dashboards either via powerpoint template for GSC and/or DisplayR wireframe
  • Defines the value pricing of specific client solutions with Commercial lead, evaluate project costs and creates cost sheets

Project Execution:

  • Delivers the contracts with high quality, within budget and GM% targets
  • Informs and collaborate with GKAM and KAM, on project status and any concerns
  • Full responsibility for project management (with focus on client facing activities and cooperating with LPS (GSC, DisplayR, MSC and Research Analyst), particularly for more complex projects
  • Collaborate with LPS team and through weekly status and project reviews, monitors study performance in terms of timing schedule, project quality and costs
  • Escalating partner for client/help in conflict situations

Analysis & Reporting:

  • Writing or reviewing client research reports, creating impactful reports including development of meaningful insightful final deliverables that answer key client business issues, using FBC methods, write headlines/executive summary
  • Directs and trains others in creating meaningful presentations
  • Regularly presenting results to the senior and midlevel management at clients, giving sales presentations
  • Demonstrates skills in extracting stories and insights for client using whole portfolio (combining insights of all projects at the client)
  • Supports in writing or reviewing client research reports, creating impactful reports including development of meaningful insightful final deliverables that answer key client business issues, using FBC methods (productive time should be used)
