Job Purpose:
To provide assistance and administrative support to the department.

Provide assistance and administrative support to the department.

  • Attend to all water queries logged.
  • Replacement of faulty water meters.
  • Job scheduling for Site Inspector.
  • Ordering of hardware.
  • Arranging access for Site Inspections.
  • Providing support to contractors and site inspector.
  • Regular site visits on large projects.
  • Quality control on work done on site.
  • Attend to all new metering requests.
  • Monthly reporting on jobs logged.
  • Receiving of Quotes, Invoices and Reports from Contractors.
  • Provide regular feedback on jobs logged to Property management and Utility Specialist.
  • Update MDA with feedback and progress of jobs logged.
  • Prioritise Jobs according to potential losses or losses incurred.
  • Review Job Cards received and propose recommendations.
  • Provide solutions for water losses or unaccounted water usage.
  • Review quoted costs vs. invoice costs
  • Attend to all customer queries.
  • Facilitate testing of meters when queried.
  • Daily monitoring of online smart water meters.

Reporting

  • Provide reports on installations, cost, progress, and feedback of meters.
  • Compile meter recharge per quantity report.
  • Compile VMSLK cost of sales report.
  • Prepaid summary report.
  • Preparing accommodation type reports
  • Preparing expenditure reports
  • Unit balancing reports
  • Sales trend report

Working conditions:

Mostly Office Based. Limited Travelling will be required.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Matric qualification required.
  • Administration course or related qualification preferred.
  • Driver's license (Own vehicle)

Skills & Knowledge Required:

Microsoft Programs:
a. MS Word - Intermediate
b. MS Excel - Intermediate - Advanced
c. MS Power Point - Intermediate
d. MS Outlook - Intermediate
e. MS Visio - Basic
years' administrative experience required.

  • Be able to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in English required.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Basic understanding of reconciliation required.
