Role Clarification & Key Performance Areas
Reporting to the Senior Faculty Officer, the appointee will be responsible for assisting with:

  • Academic Administration
  • Reception Duties
  • Enquiry Management
  • Marketing & Recruitment
  • Meeting Administration
  • Human Resources Administration
  • General Administration includes office administration, assisting document management, liaising with service providers, e.g. Technical Services, Audio Visual Services, etc.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric Certificate with at least 2 years administrative experience;
  • Proficiency in computer programmes/software packages e.g. Word; Excel / MS Office Suites / Power Point; Administrative experience in a Higher Education environment as well as knowledge of student administration systems would be advantageous.

Competencies required:

  • Demonstrated communicative, organisational and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, and to adhere to and meet strict deadlines;
  • Ability to work without supervision and to pay attention to detail.
