Job Summary:

  • The Tender and Office Administrator will be responsible for assisting with quantity take off and tender submission for a construction company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with quantity take off for tender submissions.
  • Coordinate and prepare tender documentation.
  • Price tenders based on market research and company pricing policies.
  • Manage tender deadlines and ensure submissions are completed on time.
  • Assist with office administration duties including filing, data entry, and answering phones.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary information for tender submissions.
  • Monitor tender results and provide analysis on successes and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all tender submissions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in tender pricing and submission
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of construction industry practices and terminology
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills

Education:

National Diploma or equivalent required

Salary:
R10, R13,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • Administrative office procedures, practices and equipment: 3 years (required)

Ability to Commute:

  • Gauteng, Gauteng (required)

Ability to Relocate:
