Job Description:
HR Officer
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Officer to join our Human Resources team.
As an HR Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR department and ensuring the smooth and efficient management of various HR functions.
Your responsibilities will include employee relations, recruitment support, record-keeping, and compliance with HR policies and procedures.Responsibilities:
Employee Relations:
- Assist in managing employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, grievance handling, and disciplinary actions.
- Support HR initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive work culture, fostering employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with HR team members to address employee queries and concerns promptly and effectively.
Recruitment Support:
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
HR Record-Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and uptodate employee records, including personnel files, attendance, and leave records.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive HR information.
Compliance and Policy Adherence:
- Assist in implementing and enforcing HR policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with company standards and legal requirements.
- Support in conducting HR audits to ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Training and Development:
- Coordinate training and development initiatives, including employee orientation, workshops, and skillbuilding programs.
- Assist in the evaluation of training effectiveness and contribute to the identification of training needs.
Performance Management:
- Support the performance management process, including setting objectives, conducting performance reviews, and implementing performance improvement plans.
- Assist in tracking performancerelated data and providing reports to management.
HR Administration:
- Handle daytoday HR administrative tasks, including preparing HRrelated documents, letters, and contracts.
- Manage HRrelated databases and systems, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of information.
Benefits and Compensation:
- Assist in administering employee benefits programs and other incentives.
- Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HR Officer or similar HR role.
- Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary:
R10, R14,000.00 per month
