JHG PERSONNEL PRACTITIONERS, a well-established national Human Resources consultancy firm, situated in Bellville, requires the services of a HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST to join or team.

Requirements:

  • Grade 1
  • At least completed BCom in Human Resources Management
  • Minimum 6 years' working experience in similar role
  • Working experience of the South African Labour Law and Human Resources Compliance and Regulations
  • Registered member with the SABPP will be advantageous
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Fully bilingual (English & Afrikaans)
  • Own reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
  • Clear criminal record
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to work with person of all walks of life
  • Attentiontodetail and an extreme accuracy in executing tasks
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Payroll administration experience (SAGE VIP) will be highly advantageous
  • Preferably reside in Northern Suburbs
  • Preferably nonsmoker

Key Responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Human Resources Administration
  • Compile Contracts of Employment, Job Descriptions, HR Manuals, etcetera
  • Disciplinary Hearings disciplinary investigations, compile notices, chairing of hearings, compile and give outcomes
  • Issue of warnings, sanctions, dismissals
  • Grievance procedures
  • Recruitment process
  • Administration of client employee records (staff files)
  • Advise clients on IR related matters
  • Preparation for CCMA cases and representation for Conciliation and Arbitration
  • Completion and submission of Employment Equity Reports, Workplace Skills Plan & Annual Training Reports
  • Administration of IODs on relevant online platform
  • Strategic Human Resources Planning
  • Management of Department of Labour inspections
  • Management, coordination and implementation of Section 189 processes (Organizational restructuring)
  • Policy and Procedures Development
  • Performance Management
  • Needs Analysis investigations and reporting
  • Human Resources Audit investigation and reporting
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety will be highly advantageous
  • Ad hoc tasks to assist team as/when required
