Role Summary
Summary:
Scytale is seeking new talents for its successful SDRs team, based in Johannesburg, South Africa. As a Sales
Development Representative, you will serve as the face of the company to prospective customers. You'll be
the first line of communication between the company and prospects. Your responsibilities as an SDR will
include sharing our vision, building professional relationships, and generating new business for our company
through introductions, meetings, and demo calls.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and prospect new potential clients.
- Research companies to determine fit.
- Reach out to prospects to gauge interest.
- Schedule highquality meetings and product demonstrations.
- Develop new opportunities for your pipeline and achieve your personal activity goals daily.
- Followup and engage with potential customers who were interested but did not buy.
- Report to management on activities, targets and key results.
- Develop new sales strategies based on personal successes and failures.
- Work closely with Account Executives to generate deals.
- Work closely with the SDR Manager to meet SDR Team goals.
Role Requirements:
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Very strong work ethic and selfdrive.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude in the face of rejection or criticism.
- Ability to think strategically and tactically.
- Great organization and order skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent problemsolving skills.

- Experience collaborating with internal and crossfunctional teams.
- Patient and able to practice good phone etiquette.
- Strong computer literacy skills.
- Experience using a CRM (i.e. Hubspot) an advantage.
- Great number sense and mathematical ability an advantage.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, International Relations or Law or a related field
- A MUST.
Graduating with honors
- AN ADVANTAGE.

- Commission average for qualified meeting coordination: 500 rand / meeting
- 3 months evaluation period
Renumeration:
- Salary range : R25, R65,000.00 per month excluding commission
