An experienced sales manager you will be comfortable leading from the front and coaching and developing teams of agents to high success rates.


What you'll be doing:
Work closely with the Sales Director to align individual and team sales goals with the wider teams objectivesCollaborate with the partnerships team to understand our sales strategies and ensure the sales team is equipped to capitalise and close on opportunitiesSet clear, measurable performance expectations and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales teams and measure and monitor against them, taking proactive steps to rectify when targets are not being metContribute to sales activities and lead by example by dealing with customers and closing deals in the UKConduct regular audits of CRM data to ensure accuracy and completenessAnalyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement for the team People Management - Drive sales excellence and be able to lead and manage to deliver high performing team(s)


Role model high performance, behaviours and skills required and engage the team effectivelyWork with the recruitment team to accurately assess and attract top talent and pre/on-board new starters to set them up for successConduct regular 1:1's to monitor performance against delivery of targets and manage consistent over/under performance - effectively managing PIPs and recognise/reward high performanceDeliver continuous individual coaching, which will include call listening and feedback to stretch and develop the team to achieve individual KPI's and personal growthPartner closely with HR to manage the effective resolution of a wide range of people issues making sure we balance people and company objectives fairly and minimise business riskClearly communicate and embed any changes in process or policy effectivelySkills and experience you'll need to be successful in the role:At least 5 years experience in a management role, managing teams of at least 5 and a high competence in coaching and developing others to success in sales roles Proven track record of success in meeting sales targetsExperience with sales CRM tools (Hubspot would be advantageous but not essential)Target driven and commercially astuteExcellent written and verbal English skillsGood numerical and analytical ability with strong experience producing and analysing sale reportsStrong leadership and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentUnderstanding of the difference between value and featuresCompany BenefitsHighly competitive base salaryExcellent and achievable commission structure dependant on team successMedical Aid contribution ZAR1000 per month20 days holiday a year plus public holidaysTransport homeIn-house baristaFriday drinks and regular social activitiesThe chance to work for a fast-growing disruptive technology business DE&I In our pursuit of fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace, we invite individuals from all backgrounds to join us in our mission.

Working Patterns We are extremely proud of our culture and believe in the many benefits that being in the office provides - all our roles require regular time in our office in the central business district in Cape Town.

We do not offer fully remote roles but we support hybrid working wherever possible (3 days in office, 2 days from home).

However, to meet the needs of our customers and business operations many of our Operational and Commercial roles are fully office based.
