DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES|
About the role**- To manage and grow our relationships with the Vendor in the region. Ownership for the day-to-day business management of sales revenue, market share and profit targets. Development of the channel via existing and new reseller partnerships._

  • This role will report to the Vendor Alliance Director_

As the Trainee Vendor Alliance Manager, you will:

  • You will be responsible for the relationship with your vendor and own all the commercial and execution plans inside EXN on behalf of that vendor.
  • You will be accountable for various metrics for the product including gross profit targets, market share, Trade Margin %, new business, renewals and professional services.
  • Develop a vendor plan for your region and drive execution with your team at Exclusive Networks on a quarterly basis.
Build key contacts for the specified vendors within Exclusive Networks, developing relationships at all levels of the vendor organisation.

  • Annual and quarterly business planning and review meetings with vendors and internally with the EXN team.
  • Understand where the vendor complements and competes within the existing vendor landscape.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE|
About you**
The ideal Trainee Vendor Alliance Manager:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an external facing role
  • Highly motivated, with a proactive approach to their workload
  • Able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of the IT channel and commercial challenges for distribution
  • Targetorientated
  • Experienced presenting to senior level contacts
