Key Responsibilities

  • Generating a revenue and identifying new opportunities;
  • Coordination and management of skills development initiatives;
  • Liaising with relevant training partners to build relationships and increase revenue;
  • Liaising with the relevant SETA/QCTO to maximise the benefits of partnerships/relationships;
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
  • Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased training business.
  • Cold calling as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
  • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers
  • Research and build relationships with new clients.
  • Set up meetings between client decision makers and company's training team, associate consultants or executive representatives.
  • Plan approaches and pitches.
  • Work with the training team to develop appropriate proposals, concepts or quotes that speak to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Recruiting, training, and guiding business development staff.
  • Submit accurate regular progress reports
  • Meeting and/or exceeding individual targets and contributing to the overall team targets (monthly, quarterly and annual).
  • Participate in pricing the training solutions/services.
  • Work with other team member to ensure that the Company is prequalified as a training provider.
  • Analysing financial data and developing effective strategies to reduce business costs and increase company profits.
  • Ad hock projects

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in business management, Marketing, or related field.
  • Must have proven experience working experience in business development, marketing and sales in training, consulting or similar environment
  • Experience working with QCTO/SETA's and certification/accreditation bodies;
  • The ability to build relationships with the purpose of generating revenue;
  • The ability to travel as needed.
  • Excellent analytical, problemsolving and management skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation and decisionmaking skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Detailoriented.

  • Must have own vehicle
