HR Assistant

Our client, situated in Kuilsriver, have an available position for a HR Assistant to join their well-establish manufacturing organisation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide assistance and support in the following:
- employment equity reporting
- recruitment and new employee induction process
- Day-to-day ad hoc and administrative HR related tasks
- Disciplinary process
- Performance appraisal process
- Health and Safety administration
- Development and monitoring of overall HR strategies, systems, and procedures across the organisation
- Application for and monitoring of training programs
- General HR legal compliance processes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12 Qualification
- Post-matric qualification i.e. HR National Diploma
- Must be computer literate (MS Office – Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook)
- Knowledge of applicable software i.e.: Kronos, Mpower; Saflec
- Knowledge of Labour Law and HR compliance
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- 2 - 5 years’ work experience in a similar position
- Experience in the Manufacturing Industry will be an added advantage
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- People oriented and results driven
- Competence to build and effectively assist in managing interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
