Cloud Sales Specialist

Qualification and Certification Required:
- Matric \ Grade 12 (Compulsory)
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma: In a relevant field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or Sales & Marketing.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner (or more advanced AWS certifications)
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (or more advanced Azure certifications)
- Google Cloud Foundational Certification - Professional Cloud Architect
- Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
- Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A self-motivated go-getter with a passion for technology and exceeding expectations
Relevant Experience Years of Work Experience
- 4+ years in IT or technology sales with at least 2-3 years focused on cloud solutions.
- Familiarity with different cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Datacentrix Cloud).
- Good understanding of cloud architecture, deployment models (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), and related technologies.
- Experience with managing client relationships and closing deals on cloud products.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to acquire new cloud and network customers
- Identify and qualify leads, transforming them into loyal customers
- Deliver compelling sales presentations that showcase the value proposition of our cloud, network and infrastructure solutions
- Partner with technical teams to understand customer needs and craft tailored cloud solutions
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring a win-win outcome for both our company and the client
- Manage existing client relationships, fostering trust and driving upsell and renewal opportunities
- Develop a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and cloud industry trends
- Contribute to the development and execution of marketing campaigns to generate leads
