We are seeking a dynamic and organized Project Administrator, a leading player in the building and construction industry in Benoni.

The Project Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our project management team in the planning, execution, and administration of construction projects.

This position requires a candidate with strong organizational skills, project management experience, and a good understanding of construction processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the project management team in coordinating and executing construction projects.
  2. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and budgets.
  3. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and clients.
  4. Monitor project progress and report on key milestones and potential issues.
  5. Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment for projects.
  6. Conduct research and gather information to support project decision-making.
  7. Ensure that project files and records are accurate and up-to-date.
  8. Assist with the preparation of progress reports and presentations.
  9. Handle general office administration tasks to support the project team.
  10. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Grade 12 Certificate.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of working experience in the building/construction industry.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in project management.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in office administration.
  • Ability to read architectural and measurement drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.
  • Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans (speaking, reading, and writing).
