Project Administrator

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Project Administrator, a leading player in the building and construction industry in Benoni.
The Project Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our project management team in the planning, execution, and administration of construction projects.
This position requires a candidate with strong organizational skills, project management experience, and a good understanding of construction processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the project management team in coordinating and executing construction projects.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and budgets.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and clients.
- Monitor project progress and report on key milestones and potential issues.
- Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment for projects.
- Conduct research and gather information to support project decision-making.
- Ensure that project files and records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist with the preparation of progress reports and presentations.
- Handle general office administration tasks to support the project team.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of working experience in the building/construction industry.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in project management.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in office administration.
- Ability to read architectural and measurement drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.
- Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans (speaking, reading, and writing).
