Role Purpose/Business Unit:

The Specialist: HR Process Transformation will drive HR transformation across the Vodacom Africa footprint by identifying opportunities to enhance HR processes, streamline workflows, and improve efficiency through the simplification and digitization of core HR processes using appropriate tools and technologies, including Generative AI & RPA; in collaboration with the Vodafone Global Automation and Service Introduction teams (Employee Journeys). This role includes driving the Vodacom Group Process Transformation Community across Africa to ensure alignment and a consistent Excellent Employee Experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

HR Process Simplification and Digitisation

Analyse HR processes for simplification and automation opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement the enhancements or changes to the processes. Monitor the effectiveness of transformed processes with stakeholders and continuously explore opportunities for further improvements. Provide insights on the impact of the transformed processes on EXX.


Generative AI & RPA

Support the exploration of Generative AI & RPA technologies to improve processes, workflows and ways of working across the HR Function for the Africa footprint. Provide analysis and insights on the outcomes of AI initiatives and support scaling effective projects across all markets in Vodacom Group.


Vodacom Group Process Transformation Community

Coordinate the Vodacom Group Process Transformation Community to ensure consistency and alignment to the global automation strategy and roadmap across the Africa footprint. Lead Vodacom Group's reporting on process transformation initiatives and impact in collaboration with the Global Automations Team.


Change Management

Support the facilitation of change by communicating process improvements to stakeholders. Promote continuous improvement and innovation within the HR team through engagement on new processes, tools and technologies. Monitor adoption and address any challenges.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Qualification and experience: 

Relevant 3 year Degree/Diploma (Human Resources/Information Technology) UI Path SharePoint Online MS PowerApps ARIS 5+ years HR Process Improvement 1 - 2 years in RPA/Automation experience will be advantageous
