Business Development and Key accounts – Hygiene industry

Location: Edenvale

Salary: R40 000 – R45 000CTC plus commission. Salary depends on experience and qualifications.

Duties:

  • The business development executive is responsible for the overall success of the company’s sales department reporting to the General Manager
  • Plan, execute and oversee all Sales and promotional activities in the organisation in collaboration with all other departments at COMPANY.
  • Coordinate the hiring, training and mentoring of all sales professionals in the organisation
  • Designing and implementing strategic sales plan for all regions to achieve budgets, expands customer base and ensuring COMPANY has a strong presence in the market
  • Overseeing and directing the performance of the sales team in accordance with strategic or financial goals
  • Prepare in coordination with MD and General manager annual budgets, targets and commission structures aligned with organisation goals
  • Track and analyse sales statistics via Vtiger (Customer relationship management system)
  • Identifying sales opportunities and emerging markets to increase COMPANY's market share
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders to promote the COMPANY brand by regular visits to all regions in South Africa (some traveling required)
  • Attending and plan sales conferences, trade shows and other sales related events as directed by the MD to build successful client relationships
  • Attend and facilitate customer training for sales individual promoting COMPANY brand and products
  • In collaboration with marketing and procurement departments assist in product development, product launches by offering market intelligence and identifying new opportunities
  • Price negotiations, annual pricing review and making sure margins are maintained at all times
  • Ensure selling and discounted pricing is always updated on Vtiger system
  • Ensure customer data integrity is always maintained for accurate customer information on the vtiger system
  • Serving as the face of COMPANY to external partners and valued customers
  • Assist and oversee sales personal in client vendor applications and client tender submissions
  • Identifying market shift and analysing competitor strategies and products offerings

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric
  • Tertiary qualification is an advantage
  • 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Hygiene industry experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Good people management skills
  • Emotional intelligence.
  • Traceable track record.
  • Good computer skills.
