The Agent Sales Consultant will manage end-to-end safari sales processes, from handling agent enquiries and designing tailored itineraries to confirming bookings and following up on post-travel feedback. You'll deliver accurate quotations, creative routing suggestions, and proactive communication to travel partners while meeting individual and team sales targets.

This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented role requiring strong product knowledge, outstanding customer service, and the ability to multi-task across multiple agent accounts. You'll collaborate closely with reservations, operations, and product teams to ensure a seamless guest journey while contributing to Asilia's vision of transforming travel into a force for conservation and community impact.

Conditions:

Full-time hybrid role, based in Cape Town (minimum two office days per week after probation)

Standard working hours (Mon–Fri, 9 hours incl. lunch)

Flexibility during peak seasons; participation in after-hours emergency phone rotation

10–15 years' experience in tourism, with strong background in safari or luxury travel sales

Proven experience designing detailed safari itineraries and quoting accurately

Knowledge of East African safari destinations (Tanzania, Kenya preferred)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with travel or reservations systems (Tourplan advantageous)

Strong administrative and organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail

Target-driven and solution-focused under pressure

Proactive team player with a passion for travel and conservation
