Business Development Manager – BPO Solutions (UK SMEs)

Role Overview
As our Business Development Manager, you will spearhead growth into the UK SME market. You'll uncover new business opportunities, build trusted relationships with decision-makers, and position Offshore Advantage as the preferred BPO partner for SMEs. This is a highly consultative role encompassing strategic sales, solution pitching, and collaborative execution of client-focused initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted market research to understand SME pain points, outsourcing trends, and emerging opportunities in the UK market.
- Generate new leads and manage the entire sales pipeline—from initial outreach to proposal development and closing the deal.
- Build and deliver compelling presentations and proposals demonstrating the benefits of Offshore Advantage's services (e.g., efficiency, cost-effectiveness, tailored integration).
- Engage with SME owners and executive teams, cultivating relationships and understanding their outsourcing needs and business challenges.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure seamless onboarding, expectation setting, and service delivery.
- Attend networking events, trade forums, and SME industry gatherings to build brand awareness and generate leads.
- Track business development activity, maintain CRM records, deliver forecasts, and report on KPIs and client milestones.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven UK B2B sales experience in BPO, outsourcing, professional services, or related sectors, ideally with UK SMEs.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with an aptitude for consultative selling.
- Ability to engage UK SME decision-makers, build credibility, and convey Offshore Advantage's unique value proposition.
- Familiarity with sales processes and CRM systems; comfortable managing pipelines, forecasts, and data-driven insights.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work autonomously and across geographically dispersed clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline (or equivalent sales-based experience).
Preferred
- Experience with SMEs across sectors like professional services, e-commerce, fintech, health tech, or legal services.
- Knowledge of digital transformation, AI/automation, and SaaS offerings aligning with BPO value-adds for SMEs.
