About Us: LL security is a dynamic and growing organization committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Human Resources Officer to join our HR team. This individual will play a key role in shaping and executing our people strategies, ensuring legal compliance, and promoting positive employee relations across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and training & development.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on all matters relating to South African Labour Law and the CCMA (Commission for Conciliation, Mediation, and Arbitration).
  • Manage disciplinary and grievance procedures, ensuring fair treatment and adherence to legal requirements.
  • Facilitate dispute resolution and manage CCMA cases from initiation through to resolution.
  • Conduct workplace investigations into employee complaints and workplace incidents.
  • Advise management on best practices in employee relations, employment law, and conflict resolution.
  • Review and update HR policies to ensure compliance with current labour regulations and best practices.
  • Lead the development and implementation of employee retention and engagement strategies.
  • Administer and manage employee benefits and payroll systems.
  • Develop and deliver HR training programs to ensure managers and staff are well-versed in compliance with workplace laws and organizational policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of HR-related documentation and ensure data protection.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a senior HR role, with a focus on employee relations, labour law, and compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of South African Labour Law, including the Labour Relations Act, BCEA, and the CCMA process.
  • Proven track record of managing CCMA cases and resolving disputes effectively.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employee relations, and conflict resolution strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with all levels of staff.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R14 000,00 - R16 000,00 per month
