Interim Chief Operations Officer for a Sector

Our client, a Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA), is looking to appoint an Interim Chief Operations Officer for a 6-month period with possible renewal thereafter.
Required days: Monday to Friday
Period: Six (6) Months with possible renewal thereafter
Working hours: 08h00 to 16h30 (08 Hours)
Commence date: As soon as possible
Position location: Bedfordview
The interim Chief Operations Officer will be responsible for managing the delivery of the SETA’s core operational services, which include skills development programmes, learnerships and ETQA. Oversee the day-to-day management of the operations divisions within the approved budget and service levels, while ensuring compliance with operational policies, procedures and relevant legislation and skills development regulations.
**Job Qualification & Experience**:
Prost-graduate degree in education, business leadership, strategic management, or related field (NQF level 8).
A minimum of 5 years in senior management. Extensive experience in provision of and facilitating the implementation of skills development initiatives across regional areas, qualification design and monitoring training provision, coupled with experience in the preparation and management of strategic, operational plans and budgets.
