Integrated Marketing Manager

Job Purpose
Develop, execute and maintain effective Media and Channel integration strategies across all advertising channels in order to meet annual A&G and Virseker targets, build brand presence and drive future business growth, with consideration for brand positioning and meeting Group Marketing Media and Channel performance objectives.Responsibilities
Marketing PlanningDevelop and update the operational marketing plans to align the plans with A&G and Virseker business goals.
Ensure that all media plans are effectively implemented to achieve the Group Marketing Target.
Marketing
Develop and deliver a plan for significant aspects of a product, service for the A&G, Virseker and Partnerships areas under guidance from senior colleagues.
Oversee and ensure that all radio, TV, print and outdoor bookings are made in line with media buying timelines to ensure that all media plans are implemented.
Stakeholder Engagement
Identify and manage stakeholders up to management level, finding out their needs/issues/concerns and reacting to these by leading and coordinating the development of stakeholder engagement plans to support the communication of business information and decisions.
Contract Management
Manage a portfolio of contracts and negotiate service level agreements. Will also plan, coordinate and supervise activities relating to major contracts.
Buying
Identify, select and negotiate with vendors on product selection, assortment and price for a medium to large category of products, merchandise or services.
Negotiate with vendors on product assortment and price. Involves working either on a small to medium category of products, merchandise or services or on specified products and services within a large category.
Responsible for updating the planning department on rate changes and buying implementation status.
Achieve effective generic media buying through building long and short term media partner relationships.
Document Management
Ensure the management of several document streams by working with a company wide document management system.
Ensure that accurate rates balance on all media software platforms and reflect on planning documents.
Brand
Develop and deliver a plan for the A&G and Virseker brands under guidance from senior colleagues.
Ensure the effective creation and maintenance of media brand strategy launches to achieve optimal return on investment.
Personal Capability Building
Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an in-depth understanding of technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
Keep up to date with developments in the market in order to identify, explore and possibly implement media innovation and improvement.
Budgeting and Costing
Track budgets and report variances to more senior colleagues.
Education
Grade 12/ SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential); A relevant 3 year Business related degree / diploma in a Commerce or related discipline such as Marketing, Media or Advertising (Essential) (Required)Experience
