Role Purpose
The Marketing & Digital Lead is responsible for driving Vukawanele's marketing visibility and supporting business development efforts through targeted digital campaigns, content management, and brand positioning. The role ensures a consistent online presence, manages digital assets, and contributes to lead generation strategies that align with the company's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing & Digital Management
- Develop, schedule, and manage digital marketing campaigns across social media, website, and email platforms.
- Monitor analytics, engagement, and performance across all digital channels to improve reach and conversion.
- Maintain brand consistency across digital content, ensuring alignment with Vukawanele's CI and strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with design and copy teams to produce high-quality marketing material and campaign content.
2. Business Development Support
- Research industry trends, potential clients, and partnership opportunities.
- Assist with developing proposals, capability decks, and case studies for client pitches.
- Track leads, opportunities, and conversion metrics within the CRM system to effectively manage your sales pipeline.
- Support the Operations & Delivery Lead in executing marketing-related business development initiatives.
3. Internal Communications & Reporting
- Maintain digital activity trackers and monthly performance reports.
- Participate in team meetings to provide insights, updates, and recommendations.
- Coordinate internal marketing efforts, including webinars, newsletters, and events.
Performance Indicators
- Growth in digital audience reach and engagement.
- Number and quality of leads generated from digital marketing activities.
- Timeliness and accuracy of campaign execution and reporting.
- Consistency and quality of content aligned with brand standards.
- Contribution to proposal success rate and business development outcomes.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, content planning, and analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Competence in digital marketing tools such as Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, and email automation platforms.
- Basic graphic design and content creation ability.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively within a creative team.
Qualifications & Experience
- National Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Digital Media.
- Minimum of 2–4 years' experience in digital marketing, communications, or a related role.
- Experience in an agency or fast-paced creative environment will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and lead-tracking tools preferred.

Work Model:
Hybrid – team members are required to work from the office every other day.
