Overview:
Laurium Capital is an independently owned and managed boutique asset manager. The firm manages a range of hedge and long-only investment funds investing in SA, Africa and Global markets.

Package:
Basic Salary + Bonus

Purpose:
Focused on driving net inflows from Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs) into Laurium products.

Qualities:
A professional self-starter with a passion for financial markets who works well within a high-performance team. Established substantial network within South African IFA market. The ideal candidate is most likely already a BDM professional with 3+ years of research and/or financial sales related experience, preferably in asset management. A demonstrable track record of investment acumen, work ethic and success is key. Knowledge and insights gained from industry research and analysis of portfolios would be a valuable additional skill.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

·      BCom graduate or similar qualification with numerate skills and excellent communication skills

·      Event organization and coordination experience

·      Professional Qualification preferable (eg CFA, CAIA, CA)

·      Excellent capital markets general knowledge

·      Relevant demonstrable experience required
