The Role: SEO Executive
As an SEO Executive, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality SEO work and
supporting senior team members in developing impactful, business-focused search
strategies. You will think beyond SEO to understand the broader digital and commercial
landscape, ensuring your work contributes meaningfully to client success.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of SEO recommendations across the client portfolio.
- Contribute to the agency's forward-thinking approach by sharing digital marketing
insights and supporting internal training and knowledge development.
- Assist client leads in communicating technical recommendations clearly and
confidently.
- Identify trends and insights in performance data to diagnose website issues.
- Use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, SEMrush,
Screaming Frog and Sistrix to build a full picture of client performance.
- Confidently use Microsoft Excel and have solid overall Microsoft Office skills.
Your Time Split
Deliverables
Typical monthly SEO activities include:
- Keyword research
- On-page optimisation
- Competitor analysis
- Google Business Profile optimisation
- Implementing on-site changes
- Monthly reporting
- Other ad-hoc SEO tasks as required
Client Support
- Assist with client calls when required by the account manager
- Provide ad-hoc client support
- Help define and explain the impact of SEO deliverables
Training
- Follow a structured training plan to grow your SEO expertise
- Shadow senior SEO team members to further develop technical skills
