The Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated
Security Business Development Consultant
to join our growing team. This is a critical role responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities primarily within the
physical security sector
. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in security sales, a deep understanding of physical security components, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand SecureOne's client base, focusing specifically on physical security solutions. - Business Development:
Proactively identify and qualify leads, leveraging industry knowledge, networking, and cold outreach. - Client Consultation:
Conduct thorough needs assessments for prospective clients, providing expert advice and customized solutions involving physical security systems (e.g., access control, CCTV, perimeter security, guarding services). - Proposal Development:
Create compelling and professional sales proposals, presentations, and contracts. - Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders. - Forecasting & Reporting:
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular reports and forecasts to management. - Market Intelligence:
Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies in the security sector.
Essential Qualifications
- Experience in Security Sales is ESSENTIAL:
Minimum of
5+ years
of successful sales experience within the security industry, with a heavy focus on physical security. - Expertise in Physical Security:
Demonstrated knowledge of physical security technologies and services, including: - Guarding
- Access Control Systems
- CCTV/Video Surveillance
- Intrusion Detection/Alarms
Perimeter Security (fencing, gates, bollards)
Communication & Negotiation:
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with strong negotiation abilities.- Self-Motivated:
Highly driven, autonomous, and comfortable working in a results-oriented environment.
