Overview

Nexelica and Nexelica Digital are seeking a driven and dynamic Business Development Specialist to lead client acquisition and revenue growth across our service offerings. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who performs best in a flexible, commission-driven environment. While the specialist will operate independently, they will benefit from full administrative support from our internal team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new clients for Nexelica and Nexelica Digital.
  • Develop and implement a client acquisition strategy aligned to our business objectives.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects within targeted sectors.
  • Conduct outreach via calls, email, LinkedIn, networking events, and industry channels.
  • Present and position the value of Nexelica & Nexelica Digital's solutions clearly and professionally.
  • Handle prospect queries, objections, and follow-ups to drive deal closure.
  • Liaise with internal teams for seamless client onboarding once deals are secured.
  • Maintain accurate tracking of leads, conversions, and activities.
  • Represent the company brand and uphold high levels of professionalism at all times.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development and client acquisition, preferably in digital services, technology, business consulting, or talent solutions.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes from prospecting to closing.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-driven, organised, and able to manage a personal pipeline effectively.
  • Demonstrated success working in commission-based environments.
  • Established professional networks are advantageous.
  • High ethics, professionalism, and a customer-centric attitude.

Commission Structure

  • Competitive commission percentages on successfully closed deals.

Work Arrangement

  • Flexible working arrangement – free to work with other clients as long as there is no conflict of interest and confidentiality is upheld.
  • Remote or hybrid based on preference.
  • No fixed working hours; success measured by results.

Administrative Support Provided

The specialist will have access to full internal support, including:

  • Assistance with documentation, quotations, proposals, and onboarding packs.
  • Scheduling support for client meetings when required.
  • CRM updates and data capturing upon request.
  • Creation of marketing collateral or any sales-enabling documents.
  • General administrative assistance to streamline the sales cycle.

Tools & Enablement

  • Sales decks, product/service information, and brand materials.
  • Guidance on market focus and business development strategy.
  • Regular check-ins for alignment and support.
