We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our dynamic team within the specialized non-ferrous metals sector. The ideal candidate will be a technical seller, capable of increasing client base and driving revenue growth.

Key Requirements & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience within the metals, engineering, electronic waste or industrial supplies sector.
  • Essential ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced sales cycle.
  • Strong technical knowledge of non-ferrous metals (e.g., aluminum, copper, brass, zinc, etc.), including common alloys and their applications.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific legislation and components related to metal usage, quality standards, and compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed challenging sales targets.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transport.
  • Clear criminal record

Core Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities within manufacturing, construction, and engineering industries.
  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of accounts.
  • Provide expert advise and technical solutions to clients regarding product selection, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to maximize profitability.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer information using a CRM system.

Ideal Attributes (A Distinct Advantage)

  • Existing client database or established network within the local non-ferrous metals industry.
  • A relevant technical qualification (e.g., Engineering Diploma, Metallurgy Certificate, or equivalent).
