Sales Representative
– ImplantCast  - Gauteng

ImplantCast SA is searching for an Arthroplasty Sales Representative to join the team in Gauteng Region.

An opportunity has become available within our Sales team for an experienced Arthroplasty Sales Representative in the Gauteng territory.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the successful launch, promotion and sales of Implantcast product range to Surgeons and Private hospitals. The incumbent will also be responsible to continually educate medical professionals in the correct application and usage of these products.

SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Analysis of the current usage, potential usage and long-term possibilities within the identified customer base.

· Regular contact with identified target list. Regular contact entails interaction and product discussion monthly.

· Implementation of all Strategic and Tactical plans as developed by the Implantcast marketing teams.

· Attendance and assistance to customers in theatre as and when required.

· Manage relationships with support staff such as Theatre staff, Assistants and any other role player in the relevant geographic areas.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant Diploma or Bachelor's Degree.
  • 2 or 3 years Arthroplasty sales experience will be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a similar position and theatre experience is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office packages.
  • Sales and Marketing Diploma/Degree will be advantageous.
  • Must have own reliable car.
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn product information.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships and networks effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of medical device industry, relevant procedures and hospital environment.
  • Set and implement sales strategies and plans.
