Role Summary:

We're looking for a skilled Apple & PC Support Engineer to join our Cape Town operations team. You'll handle remote and onsite support (1st – 3rd line), ensuring service excellence across macOS, Windows, and Microsoft 365 environments. Ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys solving complex technical issues and working within a fast-growing global IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote and onsite technical support across Apple and Windows systems (1st – 3rd line).
  • Manage helpdesk tickets efficiently, escalating when appropriate.
  • Deliver clear, proactive communication with end-users and teams.
  • Document troubleshooting and resolutions accurately within the ticketing system.
  • Support Microsoft 365, endpoint security, and cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with UK-based teams to ensure consistent service quality.
  • Participate in installations, migrations, and infrastructure projects.
  • Maintain endpoint protection and compliance across devices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Apple and/or Windows technical support experience.
  • Proven ability to deliver 2nd & 3rd line support independently.
  • Strong technical skills in:
  • macOS / iOS
  • Windows OS & PC hardware
  • Microsoft 365 & cloud services
  • Helpdesk ticketing and remote-support tools
  • Excellent communication skills (English C1 or higher).
  • Customer-focused, self-driven, and calm under pressure.

Nice to Have

  • MDM / JAMF / Intune experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
  • NAS or backup (e.g., Synology) knowledge
  • Networking and endpoint security fundamentals
  • Experience supporting hybrid Apple + Windows environments
