City of Cape Town Head - Support Corporate Services

Requirements

  • A 3 Year Tertiary Qualification in Business Management

(diploma or degree) or similar relevant tertiary qualification

  • Minimum 8 years management experience at a middle/senior

level in a support /administration or Human Resources

position.

  • In depth knowledge of the functioning/legislation pertaining

to a municipality or municipal entity

  • Management of administration/support functions, legal

acumen, HR and systems

  • Computer Literacy – MS Office Application
  • Must be able to work outside normal working hours during

event days

  • A valid Code EB driver's license

Key Performance Areas

  • Manage the data collection and reporting of all company

compliance related matters.

  • Management of all commercial and corporate services

contracts signed by the Municipal Entity and record

keeping of contracts.

  • Management of all human resource functions; including

recruitment, training and performance management for

the Municipal Entity.

  • Management of the Municipal Entity's company secretarial

processes.

  • Develop a system to support the Municipal Entity on

managing and reporting on company KPI'S.

Please note that this position is an entity position and will be

appointed on the entity conditions of service and not the City of

Cape Town conditions of service
