You can learn more about LexisNexis Risk at the link below, href="" target="_blank">;About the RoleWe are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth for our Fraud & Identity solutions across South Africa and the broader African region. You will work within our EMEA Fraud & Identity Sales team, partnering with businesses to deliver advanced fraud prevention, digital identity, and transaction monitoring solutions.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and engage new clients across banking, fintech, telecom, e-commerce, and regulated gaming sectors.Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, negotiation, and closing.Promote scalable, cloud-based SaaS and API-driven solutions for fraud prevention and identity verification.Develop go-to-market strategies for South Africa and emerging African markets.Build strong relationships with decision-makers and operational teams.Collaborate with internal teams to align priorities and achieve revenue goals.Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasts using Salesforce CRM.Represent LexisNexis at industry events and forums.Requirements5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS or cloud-based solutions.Proven success in closing complex enterprise deals.Knowledge of fraud prevention, identity verification, KYC, AML, and risk management.Experience working with banks, fintechs, telcos, or payment providers.Familiarity with South African and African compliance frameworks (e.g., POPIA, FSCA, SARB, FIC).Ability to engage with senior executives and technical teams.Strong communication and negotiation skills in English (French or Portuguese is a plus).Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working remotely in a multicultural environment.Willingness to travel within South Africa and across Africa.Learn more about the LexisNexis Risk team and how we workWe are committed to providing a fair and accessible hiring process.
