We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior IT Support Specialist with a strong foundation in the
Microsoft 365 ecosystem, Entra ID, SharePoint Online, enterprise networking, and cloud technologies

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with
Cisco networking, VLANs, Microsoft Graph API, Azure
and
AWS cloud services
, and will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing our IT infrastructure and cloud platforms.
Responsibilities:
·
Microsoft 365 & SharePoint:
o Provide Tier 2/3 support for Microsoft 365 services: SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and Intune.
o Design, configure, and manage SharePoint sites, workflows, and permissions.
o Automate tasks and integrate services using
Microsoft Graph API, PowerShell,
and
Power Automate
.
o Monitor and maintain M365 service health, compliance, and user access.
o Keep abreast of all Microsoft coming changes by Certification
·
Networking & Infrastructure:
o Configure and troubleshoot
Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
.
o Design and manage
VLANs
, routing protocols, and network segmentation.
o Support VPN, DNS, DHCP, and firewall rule configurations.
o Monitor network performance and implement improvements.
·
AWS Cloud Support:
o Provide support for AWS-based services.
o Assist in cloud migration, backup strategies, and hybrid cloud integration.
o Monitor AWS environments for performance, cost optimization, and security compliance.
o Monitor and report on infrastructure health, usage, and performance.
·
General IT Support:
o Oversee user onboarding/offboarding, device compliance, and license allocation.
o Maintain documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures.
o Participate in IT projects, audits, and security initiatives.
o Participate in after-hours support and emergency response as needed.
o Ensure high availability and reliability of core services.
o Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
o Implement and execute the IT Strategy in line with company goals.
o Maintain IT policies, compliance (POPIA), and risk registers.
o Manage IT budgets, expenses, and supplier relationships.
o Support audits and ensure compliance with IT regulations and internal policies.
o Manage IT infrastructure, systems, and data security (including DR and backups).
o Ensure robust cybersecurity controls and participate in vulnerability management and remediation.
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
·
Microsoft
: MS-700, MS-900, SC-300, or equivalent.
·
Cisco
: CCNA, CCNP.
·
AWS
: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect – Associate.
·
Azure
:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
·
Degree
in IT
Minimum Previous Experience:
· years in IT support with a focus on Microsoft 365, networking, and cloud platforms.
· Strong experience with
SQL, SharePoint Online
and
Microsoft Graph API
.
· Proficiency in
PowerShell scripting
and
Power Platform
.
· Hands-on experience with
Cisco networking
and
VLAN configuration
.
· Solid understanding of
TCP/IP, routing, switching
, and
network security
.
· Experience with
AWS and Azure
IaaS/PaaS
cloud best practices.
· Deep expertise in Windows & Mac administration
· Support hybrid cloud networking (e.g., IPSEC tunnels, on-prem AD integration, blob storage).
