Job Description: Head of IT Service Delivery

Location: Cape Town, South Africa

Job Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the IT Service Delivery to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Develop and implement IT service delivery strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the planning, delivery, and support of IT services, ensuring that they meet quality and performance standards.
  • Manage client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new IT services, ensuring seamless integration and user adoption.
  • Establish and enforce IT policies and procedures that align with industry best practices.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of IT services, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocations to ensure practical solutions to client needs.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement among team members and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to align service delivery objectives with organizational goals.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Proven leadership experience in IT service delivery, preferably within a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL or other relevant frameworks for service management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client management.
Desired Experience:
  • A minimum of 7 years and a maximum of 15 years of experience in IT service delivery or related roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale IT projects and services.
  • Track record of managing a diverse team and driving performance metrics.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution in the IT service delivery space.
