Role Description
We're looking for a Sales Manager to lead our high-performing Sales Department at our Cape Town offices.
In this full-time, on-site role, you'll oversee a team of digital agents and team leaders who engage with clients via WhatsApp, online leads, and telephonic channels conducting financial assessments and recommending tailored financial wellness solutions.
You'll play a key role in driving performance, refining processes, and ensuring exceptional client experiences in a fast-paced, people-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & People Management
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of digital agents and team leaders within a dynamic contact centre.
- Conduct regular coaching, performance reviews, and skills development sessions.
- Build a culture of accountability, professionalism, and growth.
Sales Strategy & Digital Channel Management
- Drive sales performance across digital and telephonic channels.
- Oversee lead management, follow-ups, and conversion optimization.
- Collaborate with marketing to align lead generation strategies with sales goals.
Operational Excellence
- Manage team rosters, productivity, and workflow efficiency.
- Track and report on KPIs, conversion rates, and revenue performance.
- Uphold HR, labour, and disciplinary processes in line with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act.
Strategic Growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with FWH's growth objectives.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the digital customer journey.
- Stay informed about credit legislation, market trends, and competitor activity.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a sales management role, preferably within financial services or credit-related industries.
- Proven success managing digital and telephonic sales teams.
- Strong understanding of credit rehabilitation, financial assessments, and affordability analysis.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
- Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Excel, and performance reporting.
- Knowledge of labour law, performance management, and compliance best practices.
- Matric (Bachelor's pass) required; tertiary qualification in Business, Sales, or Finance advantageous.
- Clear criminal and credit record essential.
