Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Centurion for a Head Chef in a fine dining establishment. The Head Chef will oversee kitchen operations, manage a team of kitchen staff, plan and create menus, and ensure the quality and presentation of dishes meet the highest standards. Other responsibilities include maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, managing inventory, and collaborating with management to enhance customer experience.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in culinary arts, menu development, and food presentation
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing kitchen staff and operations
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and inventory management
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Culinary certification or equivalent and prior experience in fine dining is preferred
- Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends and evenings
