Represents, Details and Sells the Novartis ophthalmology products to HCP's: Doctors, Pharmacies, Specialists, Specialist Assistants, and Institutions (Hospitals, etc) in Pretoria and Midrand area.

Sales Manager – Novartis Ophthalmology 

Job Purpose:

Represents, Details and Sells the Novartis ophthalmology products to HCP's: Doctors, Pharmacies, Specialists, Specialist Assistants, and Institutions (Hospitals, etc). in Pretoria  and Midrand area.

Required Learning:

Tertiary qualification within sciences preferable

Computer literacy: MS Office (proficient in Excel, Word & Power Point)

A valid driver's license.

2-3 yrs experience as a Medical Sales Rep

Proven track record in sales will be key. 

Proven track record in meeting sales target

Clear understanding of ROI and own territory 

Ability to read, understand and communicate key outputs of clinical trials. 

Preferably have solid relationships with target audience and full understanding of performance drivers including metrics around market share and EI.

Key Job Outputs:

Detail Health Care Practitioners: Doctors, Specialists, Specialist Assistants and pharmacies on clinical benefits of products.

Territory and time management.

Ensure adherence to product marketing strategy.

Ensure adherence to the current marketing code of conduct and legislation.

Arrange and facilitate continuing medical education (CME) programs for pharmacies, doctors, specialists and specialists assistants.

Understanding company policy and procedures and ensure adherence thereto.

Complete expense claims.

Correct utilization of customer relationship marketing.

Maintaining customer relations in a cost-effective manor.

Willingness and ability to travel within the designated territory.
