Senior Sales Representative – Johannesburg

Reporting to:
Branch Manager (JHB) / National Sales Manager

Location:
Midrand, Johannesburg

Purpose of the Role

To drive sales performance through proactive customer engagement, technical product knowledge, and a solutions-oriented approach — supporting the branch and national growth objectives for Land Rover OEM and replacement parts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients (workshops, fleets, retail customers).
  • Proactively source and convert new business opportunities.
  • Handle parts enquiries via phone, email, and counter; identify correct components (using VIN, catalogues, or diagrams).
  • Prepare quotes, process sales, and coordinate with warehouse for dispatch.
  • Resolve warranty or returns issues quickly and professionally.
  • Track and report on sales activity, customer trends, and competitor activity.
  • Support the Branch Manager in achieving branch sales targets.
  • Uphold the LP4A brand values in every customer interaction.

Profile Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in automotive sales, ideally Land Rover or 4x4 parts.
  • Technical knowledge of vehicle parts; mechanical aptitude an advantage.
  • Proven sales record and strong communication skills.
  • Confident handling client queries, quotations, and CRM systems.
  • Computer literate (Excel; Kerridge or similar ERP beneficial).

  • Monthly and quarterly sales targets achieved.
  • Expanded customer base and improved retention.
  • High customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Effective collaboration with branch and national sales teams.
