Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven 
Business Development Hunter

to spearhead growth in our B2B markets. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives on identifying opportunities, building strong client relationships, and closing high-value deals. The successful candidate will be instrumental in expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth. Suitable

Key Responsibilities

Prospecting & Lead Generation

  • Identify, research, and target new business opportunities across B2B sectors.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.

Client Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Initiate contact with potential clients through cold calls, networking, and industry events.
  • Develop trusted relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders.

Sales Execution

  • Deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams to refine offerings and strategies.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

Experience
:

  • 5+ years in business development, new business hunting within B2B sectors.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Skills & Competencies
:

  • Strong hunter mentality with exceptional prospecting skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and driven by results.

Academic Qualifications

  • Tertiary Qualification (Degree/ National Diploma/ NQF Level 7in Sales & Marketing)
