Direct Reports HR Manager
**Purpose**
To provide an efficient and effective HR Generalist function, give support and assistance to the MD also create a fair, respectful, diverse and high performing culture that enables employees to contribute their very best to the business also to achieve the organizational goals as well as their individual goals.
**Education & Experience Required**:
- Matric
- National Diploma in Human Resources Management
- National Diploma in Business Administration
**Specific Experience and other Qualities**:
- 1-2 years exposure HR generalist role
**Advantageous**
- Experience with SAP or other ERP system
- Experience with a reporting system such as Business Warehouse
- Ability to communicate in other languages, South African languages
**Task/Responsibilities**:
**Maintain and Monitor Employment Equity**:
- Monitor and update EE Monthly Reports
- Arrange and compile EE Report for submission to DoL in October each year
- Compile Monthly EE Demographics, per department and communicate the figure with line managers
- Gather information for BB-BEE from all relevant stake holders
- Compile and consolidate information for BB-BEE rating or submission in October
- Compiling EE Demographics, compare the spread in terms of appointment targets.
- Assist and guide Line Managers to monitor their EE Targets when filling vacancies
**Diversity and Transformation**:
- Arrange EE meetings
- Attend EE/SD meetings
- Write minutes during EE/SD meetings
- Maintain and distribute Agenda to the committee members and minutes of meetings to the staff
- Provide and display information on EE Minutes to the Notice Boards
- Get involved in setting and projection of EE targets with line managers
- Manage the EE /SD team effectively to ensure objectives are met
**Policies, Code, Guidelines and Procedures**
- Know and understand BCEA
- Ensure all company policies are in place and are published on ENGINE, Public Folder and Intranet.
- Ensure compliance of all HR policies and procedures
- Inform staff about new policies and guidelines.
**Communication and Transparency Structures**
- Ensure sufficient and effective communication across the board i.e. update and inform employees about latest development.
**HR Administration**:
- Maintain Staff Complement Report
- Update Organogram monthly
- Update HR Dashboard monthly
- Maintain position names, Job Category Code, job levels
- Administer Movement register resignations, appointments, promotions leave, sick leave, and Vacancies etc.
- Maintain information on turnover and intakes of employees
- Audit employee’s files and keep them up to date
- Record trainee register
- Record employees leave days
- Assist/release the receptionist at the switchboard
- Keeping abreast with HR global best practices
**HR Digitalization**:
- Uploading employee files onto People Solution system
- Update People Solution
- Overall HR documents digitalization
**Ad Hoc**:
- Handling of queries in line with SLA with Finance e.g. support finance with Medical Aid, Pension Funds documents etc.
- Ensuring all documentation for all employees is up to date and is updated on an on-going basis both manually and on the VIP HR system and SAP (HR Masterclass System)
- Assist with feeling in vendor forms
- Book training
**HR Admin Development**
- Compile Induction Package
- Compile Exit Pack
- Book training with different service providers and send invites to employees.
**Recruitment for trainees**
- Typed correspondence:
- Letters/contracts/regret letters/letters of appointment
- Short-list applicants who meet the minimum requirements of the job
- Arrange and coordinate interviews
