Duties/Pligte
- Hanteer telefoonoproepe en navrae by ontvangs;
- Hanteer die skakelbord op 'n professionele wyse;
- Ontvang kliënte en besoekers op 'n professionele wyse;
- Bestuur toegangsbeheer en monitor die ingang;
- Verwys besoekers op die korrekte manier na die toepaslike personeellid of lokaal;
- Ontvang goedere en stuur aan die toepaslike persoon;
- Verleen administratiewe steun aan akademiese en administratiewe personeel van die Skool vir Publieke Leierskap;
- Tree as veiligheidsbeampte vir die vloer op.
- Handling telephone calls and enquiries at reception;
- Managing the switchboard in a professional manner;
- Receiving clients and visitors in a professional manner;
- Managing access control and monitoring the entrance;
- Correctly referring visitors to appropriate members of staff or venues;
- Receiving and dispatching goods to the appropriate person;
- Providing administrative support to the School of Public Leadership's academic and administrative staff;
- Acting as safety officer for the floor.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
- Matriek of 'n Nasionale Senior Sertifikaat;
- Minstens drie jaar ervaring as 'n skakelbordbeampte, ontvangspersoon of 'n soortgelyke posisie;
- Uitstekende skriftelike en mondelinge kommunikasievaardighede in Engels en / of isiXhosa of Afrikaans;
- Die vermoë om in 'n multikulturele omgewing te funksioneer;
- Die vermoë om verskeie voortgesette en ad hoc-take te beplan, organiseer en te lewer/implementeer;
- Rekenaarvaardig in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams en ander soortgelyke platforms;
- Die vermoë om onder druk 'n professionele en vriendelike diens te lewer;
- Handhaaf 'n positiewe ingesteldheid teenoor kliënte en kollegas.
- Grade 12 or a National Senior Certificate;
- At least three years' experience as a switchboard operator, receptionist, or a similar position;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and / or isiXhosa or Afrikaans;
- The ability to function in a multicultural environment;
- The ability to plan, organise and execute various continuous and ad hoc administrative tasks;
- Computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams and other, similar platforms;
- The ability to deliver a professional and friendly service under pressure;
- Maintaining a positive attitude towards clients and colleagues.

Recommendation/Aanbeveling
- 'n Toepaslike naskoolse sertifikaat in administrasie of 'n verwante veld;
- Kennis van die Universiteit se administratiewe stelsels;
- Die vermoë om in 'n tweede taal te kommunikeer (isiXhosa of Afrikaans);
- Opgelei in Gesondheid en Veiligheid en/of Noodhulp.
- A post-matric certificate in administration or a relevant field;
- Prior experience of the University's administrative systems;
- The ability to communicate in a second language (isiXhosa or Afrikaans);
- Health and Safety and/or First Aid training.
