Project Facilitator

This position is based in East London. It involves majority travel throughout the Eastern Cape to ensure timeous execution of projects according to requirements and without exceeding budget. The Project Facilitator will oversee the re-branding process co-ordinate the different groups of people involved in the re-branding, ensure that quality is maintained and ensure that the re-brands are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

**Leadership responsibilities**:
Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. This position does not have any internal subordinates but does have external professional teams

**Duties / responsibilities**:

- Clearly define and document the scope of each project.
- Ensure timely delivery of all six stages of the project.
- Collaborate with internal and external re-branding stakeholders to determine the specifications of the project.
- Interpret project drawings and construct scope of works.
- Communicate with contractors as well as professional team.
- Obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
- Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
- Plan all operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines to be met.
- Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
- Participate in the monthly Pipeline planning process.
- Manage project quality.
- Implement cost saving initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
- Manage project risk and communicate effectively.
- RISK analysis and reporting for CAPEX and maintenance.
- Project standards and specifications monitoring and updating.
- Re-branding portfolio owner
- Liaison with Contractors
- Process improvement

**Qualifications**:

- NQF Level 6 or higher or equivalent relevant degree/diploma
- Project Management qualification preferable
- Valid Driver’s License
