Our **Retail Distribution client **is currently looking for a **Logistics Operations Manager/Superviso**r based in **East London**
- **Must have a drivers license and own car**:

- **Please note this position requires shift work**
The overall objective of the Fleet Controller role is to effectively manage and oversee the day to day (also nightshift) operations of the drivers within the unit. This includes the short term planning and scheduling of daily operations. This extends from the productivity of drivers and their vehicles; along with the overall maintenance of vehicles; solving queries etc. in order to deliver exceptional service for clients

**Requirements**:

- Must have a grade 12/Matric
- Diploma in Logistics or supply chain
- Ideally at least 3-5 years experience in fleet operations management
**Responsibilities**
- Operational Execution:
Oversee and manage own fleet of vehicles
- Schedule maintenance
- Weekly checks
- Services
- Washbay
- Breakdowns (where applicable)
- Licensing of vehicles
- Manage diesel consumption
- **Trip management**:

- Manage and schedule drivers’ working hours
- Route planning
- Oversee successful loading of goods at clients with all relevant paperwork
- Planning and scheduling the overs (old order incomplete from last loading cycle with new orders received.
- **Other**:

- Insurance Claims
- Adhoc Projects
- Debrief Paperwork (daily)
**Reporting**:

- Prepare and submit weekly operational stats
- Prepare, analyse and submit monthly operational stats
**Operational Efficiencies**:
*
- Work with team of drivers to deliver operational efficiencies
- Delivery of superior quality customer experiences within SLA
- Fleet management
**Salary ranges depending on experience R15 000- R25 000**

**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R25,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (required)
**Experience**:

- fleet controlling: 3 years (required)
- route planning and scheduling: 3 years (required)
License/Certification:

- logistics or supply chain certificate (preferred)
- code 8 + own car (required)
