A leading manufacturer based in East London, has an opportunity on their logistics team for a detail driven logistics professional who considers customer satisfaction a top priority. Working alongside a team of like-minded individuals, this opportunity offers significant scope for personal and professional growth. Reporting to the Regional Executive, the successful applicant will effectively supervise the fleet, stores and distribution and the flow of stock in and out of the warehouse to enable distribution to run efficiently and effectively.

**REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- A minimum of a Matric (Supply Chain or Logistics qualification advantageous)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Store’s Supervisor or Management experience essential
- Must have some Distribution and/or transport experience.
- Intermediate excel
- Experience on SAP or similar ERP system advantageous
- Attention to detail
- Hands on approach
- Good planning and organizing skills
- Passionate about excellent service
- Strong sense of urgency
- Ability to make tough decisions (Edge)
- Ability to energize others

**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Receiving and verifying FG stock and secondary packaging
- Ensuring timeous and correct distribution of products
- Solving problems and stock discrepancies identified
- Monitoring of stock levels and ensuring timeous supply of stock to Customers
- Ensuring stock is handled correctly
- Monthly stocktaking
- Managing of FG Stores and Distribution team
- Managing the fleet (internal trucks and drivers)
- Planning function (inter-branch and production)
