Internationally based, SME funding and advisory firm, setting up offices in SA is looking for a dynamic Bookkeeper/ Accounting Officer to be based in Cape Town.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, as the Bookkeeper/ Accounting Officer you will be responsible for the reviewing, processing, verifying and reconciling all payments, income and expenditures for clients.

**OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE**

The Bookkeeper/ Accounting Officer provides operational support as part of the Finance team to ensure that the organisation achieves its operational objectives.

Working closely with the Group Financial Controller, the Bookkeeper/ Accounting Officer is accountable for ensuring accurate and up to date accounting records are maintained for group clients.

This is a varied role where you will be involved in providing a full range of accounting services to the group's client base of innovative businesses for the Financial Management Services division.

The business is an innovative business with a “digital first” approach. Interest in digital bookkeeping approaches is important with the majority of work performed using cloud based software and using software features to streamline the bookkeeping process.
