Location: De Waterkant, Cape Town

Position: Full-time Bookkeeper

Key Responsibilities:

Debtors & Creditors Management – Processing invoices, reconciling accounts, following up on outstanding payments, and ensuring timely supplier payments.

Stock Control & Reconciliations – Tracking inventory levels, assisting with stock counts, and ensuring accurate stock valuation.

Bank Reconciliations – Reconciling bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial transactions.

Payroll Processing – Calculating salaries, processing payroll transactions, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations.

Full Bookkeeping Function – Capturing financial transactions, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing trial balances.

Financial Reporting Support – Assisting in the preparation of management reports, VAT submissions, and financial statements.

Regulatory Compliance – Ensuring compliance with tax and financial regulations relevant to the medical industry.

Requirements:

Minimum NQF5 qualification in Accounting/Bookkeeping

At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience

Proficiency in Xero (a must)

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Experience in the medical field is an advantage
