We are currently seeking a Sales Manager (FMCG/Retail)
**Requirements**:
- 5-10 years experience in sales and sales management
- Must have retail and FMCG experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or similar
- Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
- Experience in customer relationship management
- Experience managing and directing a sales team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Dedication to providing great customer service.
- Ability to lead a sales team by example.
- Results orientated.
- Deadline driven.
- Must have excellent negotiation skills and persuasion abilities.
- Ability to think analytically, conceptually and systematically in order to resolve problems.
- Solid customer service attitude
- Must be able to sell to large corporates
- Must be able to network and build relationships
**Duties**:
- Drive sales growth by following up on leads generating new leads and conducting meetings
- Take prospective customers through the sales life cycle to a signed contract
- Sales management and leadership
- Motivate the sales team for individual and company success
- Provide the sales team with on-the-ground support by accompanying them in the trade on a regular basis and assisting them with closing deals in meetings
- Identify potential opportunities and inform the sales team to follow up.
- Attend to client complaints and resolve issues promptly.
