Prime African Security is looking for an Area Manager in the Gauteng Region.

**Requirements and Skills**:

- Minimum 5 years proven experience as a security manager or similar;
- Experience in reporting and emergency response planning;
- Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures;
- Knowledge of Roster Management;
- Solid understanding of budgeting and statistical data analysis;
- Proficient communication in English (verbal and written);
- Report writing, investigation and auditing skills;
- Leadership, proactive, and strong client relationship skills;
- Management of Security Service Level Agreements with clients to full compliance;
- Computer Literate;
- Working knowledge of MS Office;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills;
- A sound and proven understanding of security technology;
- Committed and reliable;
- Must be willing to work outside normal working hours;
- A valid Code B driver’s license.

Minimum qualification:
Grade 12/Matric Psira Grade A

Tertiary qualification in Security Management would be an added advantage COC (Handgun, Shotgun and Rifle for Business Purposes)

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures;
- Planning of Site Rosters and Leave Management;
- Plan, direct and coordinate operations on allocated site(s)
- Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses;
- Recruit, train and supervise security officers and guards;
- Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs;
- Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events;
- Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms;
- Draft reports on incidents and breaches;
- Investigate and resolve issues;
- Create reports for management on security status;
- Analyze data to form proposals for improvements (e.g. implementation of new technology).
