PURPOSE OF POSITION : To be a servant leader, promoting sales, reducing stock losses, managing stock, leading and growing a team of Dynamos, and to maintain a low-cost culture in order to meet business goals. RESPONSIBILITIES Increase sales by focusing on exceptional customer service and world‑class store standards, maintaining the store image, presentation and promotion of stock. Manage stock, promotional implementation, and correct pricing of products according to price image guidelines. Minimise stock loss by fostering a healthy culture and following security, stock, and cash handling procedures. Manage a low‑cost business by driving efficiencies. Ensure administrative duties in the store are completed on time and in accordance with company guidelines. Oversee area administration as required. Lead a dynamic team of Dynamos; train, coach, and manage performance within a Sikhula KunYe company culture. Oversee all aspects of people support for the area. JOB REQUIREMENTS Grade 12. Relevant tertiary education – a degree or diploma in a business / retail‑related field is an advantage. Ideally 3–5 years experience in a retail environment within a leadership/managerial role. Computer literacy. Valid Code 8 manual driver’s licence with willingness to travel extensively. (Microsoft and/or Google GSuite – advantage) ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED A passion for retail to deliver a world‑class customer experience. Integrity and willingness to go the extra mile. Confident with strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills; ability to give recognition, support, and direction to a team. Strong managerial capabilities – plan, lead, organise and control. Decision‑making and problem‑solving skills; able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
