Our client specializes in the creation and supply of highly effective, all-natural, and 100% biodegradable household cleaning products is looking for a Sales Manager - General Manager to join the team.

Durban based - offices in Hillcrest and Durban North. Hillcrest is where everything is made

Is flexibility to work from either office.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sales Team Oversight**:
Supervise and support sales representatives to ensure they meet and exceed sales targets.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide guidance and support as needed.

Ensure the completion of weekly call sheets and administrative tasks by the sales team.

Collaboration with Marketing:
Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop client-specific materials.

Review and ensure the availability of accurate marketing materials for the sales representatives.

Client Relationship Management:
Engage directly with clients, accompany representatives during presentations, and assist in closing deals.

Follow up with clients post-interactions to maintain strong relationships and address concerns.

Operational Excellence:
Oversee administrative and operational processes to ensure efficiency and alignment with business objectives.

Coordinate with various departments to streamline operations and achieve organizational goals.

Business Growth Focus:
Drive revenue growth and business expansion by implementing strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's objectives.

Act as a versatile leader, addressing operational aspects while emphasizing revenue growth.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in sales management and team leadership within a relevant industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively mentor and guide a sales team.
- ensure they reach targets - if not, chat to them and find out why and where they can help
- ensure their call sheets are done every week
- ensure their admin is up to date
- look after them like a mom looking after a child, making sure their homework is done
- Ability to collaborate with the marketing department to create tailored client materials.
- speak to them about creating material that is specific to a particular client (client base is abattoirs, beauty spas, retailers like PnP, factories, etc. - products are eco cleaning product range, grease trap items, commercial oil cleaning items, etc.)
- review the marketing material and ensure the reps have the correct material
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for client interactions.
- liaise with clients or join a rep at a presentation or follow up with the client afterwards - help close the deal
- Proficiency in overseeing administrative and operational tasks.
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle diverse responsibilities.

Note: This role demands proactive leadership, strategic thinking, and a commitment to driving sales and operational excellence while nurturing a supportive and growth-oriented environment for the sales team.

**Salary**: From R30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:
