Order Fulfilment Consultant - Johannesburg, Gauteng - Job ID 3909

An industrial sealing company with a highly inspiring team and a diverse range of products is looking for an Order Fulfilment Consultant to join their production and draughting department. The Order Fulfilment Consultant will be responsible to source, procure, and expedite goods and services as required (includes negotiating price and delivery).

**Position details**:
Type: Permanent
Reports to: Manager
Primary Purpose: The Order Fulfilment will be responsible to source, negotiate price and delivery, procure, and expedite goods and services as required and in accordance with company policies and procedures and with experience in the metals fabrication environment.
Travel requirements: None

Job description / core competencies:
Create production orders.

Loading of jobs onto production schedule.

Selecting of drawings to send to production.

Processing of costing.

Understanding of production scheduling.

Able to read technical drawings.

Liaise with engineering re technical matters.

When order is released, check stock, and thereafter advise purchasing of any outstanding components.

Ensure timeous completion of production goods.

Assist team members/department with additional tasks when load balancing required.

Attend daily meetings, departmental.

Assist technical operations team with product costings.

Work in a team and as an internal supplier within the overall supply chain.

Produce and manage production list and back-order reports daily.

Feedback to all relevant departments with respect to orders, costing issues, and changes to the delivery of their goods or services.

Any other tasks specified in pursuance of the Company’s objective.

**Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience**:
Matric 5 Years in a planning environment.

Experience in the metal fabrication environment or pipe fitting Industry will be advantageous.

Experience in drawing office would be advantageous.

Basic experience in quality requirements and specifications.

MS Office (Excel, Project, Word, Power Point).

Knowledge of ERP systems.

Understand technical drawings.

Good communication skills.

Assertiveness.

Analytical skills.

Work well under pressure.

Multi-tasking skill.
