**Primary Objective**:

- Co-ordinate projects handled in the Marketing Department and liaison with other departments & suppliers.
- Communication coordinators perform a range of specialised and administrative duties in a company’s marketing department. Also known as a brand manager or communications manager, they are in charge of increasing a company's visibility by managing the brand image and the design of marketing materials.

**Main Tasks**:

- Collaborates with events, multimedia, and marketing team to provide printed materials for field meetings, expos, and conventions.
- Regularly reviews all printed materials to ensure they meet corporate standards.
- Analyses ongoing department needs and works to control corporate production and printing costs.
- Serves as a link between the company and vendors, contractors, and freelancers who offer specialised services.
- Manages price adjustments and supervises project pricing in coordination with the rest of the African region.
- Supervises administrative department personnel to ensure projects are completed on time.
- Tracks all literature and projects initiated by the company, overseeing them from inception to completion.
- Provides monthly status reports on upcoming and completed projects to the Marketing Department.
- Maintains general communication with vendors, other departments, distributors, companies, and countries.
- Acts as an intermediary between suppliers and other departments for relevant projects.
- Assists in planning and preparing materials for company events.
- Proofreads all artworks in both the copy and preprint stages**Inherent Requirements**

**Technical Skills**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Public Relations, or Journalism.
- A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working in a marketing or communications position.
- Possess a solid understanding of effective marketing techniques.
- Must have excellent writing and editing skills.
- Be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills

**Behavioral Skills**
- Excellent communication, teamwork and relationship building skills.
- Strong administrative (organisational) ability & able to handle a wide variety of projects simultaneously.
- Work under deadline pressure with little direct supervision.

**What Qualification**
- Marketing, Communications, English, Public Relations, or Journalism.
